I know this is going to sound odd, but when you decide to use basic HTML do you tag each of your pages or not? Like I said fairly simple question, but each person has a different mindset when it comes to this. So I was curious what you think works best. |

Isabellas2007 I'm not sure what do you mean by "tagging", could you give an example. This is something I have not heard of before? |

Yeah I don't follow you what do you mean by "tag each page"? |

Do you mean metatags for SEO or HTML header and footer tags, or something else entirely? |

I'm also confused on what you mean by tagging. If you mean the metatags for each page. I do usually do it. I usually copy/paste everything in the head and navigation bar so it's universal throughout the site. It works perfectly well for me. :) |

I'm also a tad confused over here about the "tag every page" thing. If you mean metatags and keywords, yes, I do give all my pages metatags and keywords simply because it improves your SEO. |

I'm somewhat confused by what you mean by tag each page. If you could clarify or provide an example for us, then it would be easier to answer the question. |

I doesn't have nearly the effect as it once did, though. That said, I usually do as well simply for the "no harm, no foul" approach. For those interested, check out Google Panda and Penguin to see what is taken into account on search/page rankings. They just updated the algs not to long ago so it is a hot topic around the web community. |
