Hey guys! Thought I'd start an official intro thread.

I got in to IT a few years ago, gradually transitioned from Target electronics < telco phone support < IT manager < regional sysadmin.

I love the field but the pay sucks and clients are unbearable at times; it's fun though :)

Hello Brentnauer!

A warm welcome to The IT Ninja!

Great to have an experienced professional on board. You seem to have quite a varied and wide ranging experience within IT. No doubt this wealth of knowledge will be much appreciated by the Ninja community!

Dealing with clients is very difficult indeed, it does take a lot of patience and skill to handle them in the right way.

We look forward to seeing you in the forums!

Thanks! I'm currently a sysadmin for 10 dealerships in my region... They call it "high velocity IT". Not sure if that's a real term, but it's accurate. Dealership folk are a special breed of idiots sometimes.

Job security!
